In partnership with the local government units of Pasig and Quezon City, Grab Philippines rolled out the #WellnessOnTheGo program to promote the health and wellness of its driver-partners and their families. The program served almost 2000 beneficiaries composed of 800 Grab driver-partners and their families, with activities aimed to boost the mental and physical health and wellbeing of the program recipients.
Grab driver-partners and their families received health benefits from the company’s medical partners that provided general eye and dental check-ups, and participated in wellness activities such as free haircuts, nail cleaning, and massages. They also received free medicine and healthy food packages courtesy of Grab.
“Grab recognizes the value of a holistic approach to health and wellness, not just of our employees but also the bigger community where we operate. While we provide alternative means of livelihood to our driver-partners, we prioritize their wellbeing–including that of their families–and remain committed to ensuring that their health and safety are well-supported. ,” said CJ Lacsican, head of operations for Grab.
Simultaneous to the event is the distribution of veggie packs among 800 recipients in different driver tambayans. Additionally, 28 driver-partners donated blood to the Philippine Red Cross.
