Smart Communications is emphasizing its commitment to customers through a campaign focused on reliability—underscoring its efforts to maintain personal service, enhance digital tools, and expand network coverage across the Philippines.
While many telecom providers have shifted to purely digital channels, Smart continues to operate 123 physical Smart Stores nationwide. These locations provide customer support for billing inquiries, product updates, and account troubleshooting, offering a human touch in an increasingly digital environment.
Alongside its brick-and-mortar presence, Smart promotes the use of the Smart App, which allows users to monitor usage, track subscriptions, pay bills, and redeem rewards from their smartphones. This dual approach aims to support both traditional and tech-savvy users.
Smart Prepaid customers can access data, call, and text packages such as Power All 50, Power All 99, and Power All 149 through the app or at accredited retailers. For Postpaid users, data and call boosters are available starting at P199 to help customers stay connected throughout the month.
Smart has also focused on lifestyle benefits, offering access to concerts and live events through ticket promos and giveaways. In recent months, Smart supported local fan access to the Manila concert of j-hope and the return of 98 Degrees. Additional perks are available to Postpaid Plan 999 and above subscribers, including dining, shopping, travel, and entertainment discounts via the Smart App.
In terms of infrastructure, Smart launched its 5G Max network in Taguig in December and demonstrated 5G Standalone (5G SA) technology during a large-scale event at the Mall of Asia Arena. These initiatives are designed to deliver stable, high-speed connections in crowded and high-traffic environments.
Smart’s mobile network currently covers 97% of the Philippine population and operates on PLDT’s nationwide fiber backbone, making it part of the country’s most extensive integrated telecom infrastructure.
The company describes its “Simply Reliable” positioning as a reflection of its long-running role in providing dependable connectivity and services since 1991.
