The finalists, selected from nearly 250 submissions across 47 countries, represent advancements in the use of technologies like artificial intelligence and digital twins across sectors including transportation, energy, water, and urban development. Independent panels of global industry experts judged the entries.

“These projects show how infrastructure professionals are delivering more resilient solutions despite mounting global challenges,” said Chris Bradshaw, Bentley Systems’ chief sustainability and education officer.

Finalists span 12 categories, such as Bridges and Tunnels, Rail and Transit, Roads and Highways, Energy Production, and Water and Wastewater. Among the notable entries are Italferr S.p.A.’s bridge management project in Italy, PT Wijaya Karya’s waste-to-energy facility in Indonesia, and Network Rail’s digital transformation of the Severn Tunnel in the United Kingdom.

The winners will be announced on October 16 during Bentley’s 2025 Year in Infrastructure conference in Amsterdam. The event gathers global infrastructure leaders and showcases digital transformation trends shaping the sector.

Bentley’s Going Digital Awards aim to recognize the impact of digital solutions in addressing infrastructure demands and improving quality of life around the world.
