SAN FRANCISCO, California — Salesforce has unveiled Agentforce 360, its next-generation artificial intelligence platform that lets enterprises build and deploy reliable AI agents designed to work alongside humans. The new system expands Salesforce’s long-term vision of the “Agentic Enterprise,” where intelligent agents take on operational tasks while humans maintain creative and decision-making control.

Built on Salesforce’s Einstein 1 Platform, Agentforce 360 integrates generative AI, automation, and real-time company data into a unified system that can automate complex workflows and support customer-facing operations. The platform leverages Salesforce’s trusted metadata framework and Data Cloud to ensure security, compliance, and transparency across every interaction.

“With Agentforce 360, we’re elevating human potential through trustworthy AI,” said Marc Benioff, Salesforce co-founder and CEO. “AI should empower every employee to achieve more, not replace them.”

Building reliable, transparent agents

At the core of the Agentic Enterprise is Salesforce’s commitment to trust and reliability. Agentforce 360 addresses one of the most persistent challenges in generative AI — hallucination and lack of accountability — through a three-part framework: grounding, testing, and monitoring.

Agents built within the system are grounded in verified enterprise data via Data Cloud, which consolidates customer and operational information from across departments. This ensures agents act on current, accurate data instead of relying on public internet sources. Each agent is tested before deployment through simulations and safety guardrails. Once active, an observability layer monitors every decision, keeping actions traceable and aligned with compliance requirements.

Salesforce said this “trust by design” model extends the company’s longstanding emphasis on ethical AI. “We’ve built Agentforce to be safe, transparent, and reliable,” the company said in a statement. “Customers can see exactly how agents reason and act.”

The platform connects directly with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and third-party applications via API. Agents can automatically execute tasks such as updating records, triggering workflows, or sending customer communications — all while following a company’s governance policies.

Agentforce builder: Low-Code AI for everyone

Alongside Agentforce 360, Salesforce introduced Agentforce Builder, a low-code development environment that allows users to create and manage AI agents without deep technical knowledge. Through a visual interface, administrators and developers can define an agent’s goals, tasks, and data sources.

Builder also includes built-in tools for testing and observability, ensuring agents behave predictably before being deployed in live environments. Every action taken by an agent is logged, allowing users to monitor performance, refine responses, and maintain audit trails for transparency.

With support for multilingual prompts and external AI models through the Einstein Trust Layer, Salesforce aims to make AI development more inclusive. The company said Agentforce Builder will enable small and large organizations alike to adopt enterprise-grade AI without the complexity of custom coding.

A human-centric vision of AI

Salesforce’s approach to the Agentic Enterprise emphasizes human-AI collaboration, not replacement. The company envisions workplaces where AI agents manage repetitive tasks — such as responding to routine service inquiries or generating sales forecasts — while employees focus on creativity, empathy, and strategic problem-solving.

“AI should work for people, not the other way around,” Benioff said. “The Agentic Enterprise is about amplifying human capability through trusted technology.”

Agentforce 360 and Agentforce Builder are available in pilot programs for select Salesforce customers, with general availability expected in 2026. The company plans to expand integration with third-party systems and add more analytics and compliance tools in future updates.
