TELECOM | TinBo ePadala expands digital remittances in Singapore, UAE
The service allows users to send digital cash-in vouchers directly to recipients’ bank or e-wallet accounts in the Philippines.

Overseas Filipinos in Singapore and the United Arab Emirates can now send money home through a digital voucher system after PLDT Global Corporation expanded its TinBo platform with the launch of ePadala.
The service allows users to send digital cash-in vouchers directly to recipients’ bank or e-wallet accounts in the Philippines. It is available 24/7 through the TinBo mobile app and website, eliminating the need for over-the-counter transactions.
The rollout targets two major overseas Filipino worker (OFW) hubs, where remittances are widely used for household expenses, education, health care, and emergencies. PLDT Global said the service supports faster and more accessible fund transfers as digital adoption increases in both markets.
Recipients can redeem ePadala vouchers through more than 20 partner banks and e-wallet platforms, enabling immediate access to funds.
“As we launch ePadala in Singapore and the UAE, we are strengthening our commitment to financial inclusion and digital empowerment for overseas Filipinos,” said Albert Villa-Real, president and chief executive officer of PLDT Global, the international unit of PLDT Inc.
“This is especially important for Filipinos affected by the conflict in the UAE, because it allows them to transact securely online. TinBo’s ePadala service transforms cross-border support into something more accessible and more maalaga. We want OFWs — our bossings — to feel reassured, knowing their families can receive support quickly and safely, no matter the distance,” he added.
Users can register through the TinBo platform and send vouchers using their preferred payment methods.
PLDT Global said the expansion is part of its broader effort to scale digital financial services for Filipinos overseas.
