GADGETS | ASUS launches Zenbook DUO, S14 AI laptops in PH; A16 unveiled

ASUS has launched its 2026 Zenbook DUO and Zenbook S14 laptops in the Philippines, introducing AI-enabled devices powered by the latest processors. A third model, the Zenbook A16, was also announced.

The Zenbook DUO (UX8407AA) features dual 14-inch 3K OLED touchscreen displays with 144Hz refresh rates, designed for multitasking across five usage modes, including dual-screen and desktop configurations. It runs on an Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 3 processor with a 50 TOPS neural processing unit, paired with 32 GB LPDDR5X memory and 1 TB SSD storage.

The device supports up to 32 hours of battery life on a single screen and up to 18 hours with both displays active. It includes Thunderbolt 4, USB-A and HDMI 2.1 connectivity options. The Zenbook DUO is priced at P179,995.

The Zenbook S14 (UX5406AA), positioned as a thinner alternative, measures 1.1 cm and weighs 1.2 kg. It is equipped with a 14-inch 120Hz 3K OLED display and the same Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 3 processor with a 50 TOPS neural processing unit. It also comes with 32 GB LPDDR5X memory and 1 TB SSD storage.

The S14 is rated for up to 27 hours of battery life and includes Thunderbolt 4, USB-A and HDMI ports. It is priced at P129,995.

ASUS also unveiled the Zenbook A16 (UX3607OA), a 16-inch laptop powered by a Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme processor with an 80 TOPS neural processing unit. It features a 3K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and weighs 1.2 kg. The device is expected to be available in the Philippines at a later date.

All three models are categorized as Copilot+ PCs, supporting AI-driven features in Windows 11.

The launch expands ASUS’ premium laptop lineup in the Philippines, targeting users seeking thin, lightweight devices with integrated AI capabilities.
