HP Inc. introduced a range of artificial intelligence-powered devices, security features and workflow solutions at its HP Imagine 2026 event, aiming to support businesses and workers adapting to increasingly digital and hybrid work environments.

The announcements include new AI PCs, enterprise tools and infrastructure designed to improve productivity, collaboration and security across workplaces.

HP said it is introducing HP IQ, an intelligence layer that enables on-device AI processing and connectivity across PCs, workplace devices and meeting spaces. The system is designed to support tasks such as document analysis, note-taking and meeting assistance without relying heavily on cloud-based processing.

The company also unveiled the next generation of its AI-enabled commercial laptops, including the EliteBook 6 G2q, which integrates local AI capabilities and extended battery performance. The device is built to support advanced AI workloads and hybrid work setups.

To improve device-to-device interaction, HP introduced HP NearSense, a proximity-based technology that allows users to share files and connect to meeting systems more easily across nearby devices.

HP also announced new security features, including HP TPM Guard, a hardware-based protection designed to prevent physical attacks that bypass encryption systems. The company said the feature is intended to address vulnerabilities in device-level security.

In printing, HP introduced new LaserJet Pro 4000/4100 and LaserJet Enterprise 5000/6000 series devices, which incorporate AI-enabled document processing and security features aimed at supporting digital workflows in business environments.

For high-performance computing, HP launched updates to its Z workstation lineup, including systems designed to handle complex AI workloads and data-intensive applications.

The company also expanded its Workforce Experience Platform (WXP), adding features such as AI-generated remediation tools and reporting capabilities to help organizations manage IT systems more efficiently.

HP said the new products and platforms are part of its broader strategy to integrate AI across hardware and software systems as workplaces evolve.
