Fitness app Strava has added support for 10 more languages, including Tagalog, as part of its global expansion, the company announced March 26.
The update brings the platform’s total language support to 24, allowing users in more regions, including the Philippines, to access the app in their native language.
The newly supported languages are Czech, Danish, Malay, Norwegian Bokmal, Polish, Swedish, Tagalog, Thai, Turkish and Vietnamese.
“With the addition of these new languages, Strava is more international than ever before, enabling users to unlock the full Strava experience in their native language,” said Louisa Wee, chief marketing officer at Strava.
The expansion reflects a broader effort to localize the platform as it grows its user base, which now exceeds 195 million users across more than 185 countries.
Strava said free users will be able to access core features, including tracking more than 50 types of activities and connecting with other users, while subscribers can access additional tools such as personalized workout recommendations, route planning, challenges and training insights.
The company said it is also planning region-specific programs, partnerships and localized content as part of its expansion strategy.
