ANIME | Pokémon Champions arrives on iOS, Android

Players can now download Pokémon Champions on iOS and Android devices, expanding access to the competitive battle game beyond the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 platforms, The Pokémon Company announced.
The mobile version is available as a free download through the App Store and Google Play. The game focuses on Pokémon battles and supports play across Nintendo and mobile platforms.
The company also released a free update for Pokémon Champions on Nintendo Switch 2. According to The Pokémon Company, the update enhances graphics performance on the newer console. Players must download the latest update data through an internet connection to access the improvements.
To mark the mobile launch, the company has started a limited-time in-game event featuring Raichu. The campaign runs through Sept. 2, 2026, and is available to players on both mobile devices and Nintendo Switch systems.
During the event, players can claim Raichu, Raichunite X and Raichunite Y through the game’s in-game mailbox. The update also introduces Mega Stones that allow Raichu to Mega Evolve into Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y.
Pokémon Champions was previously released for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The latest launch brings the title to mobile devices for the first time.
