Organizations will have new AI tools to support workforce development, internal mobility and talent planning following an Aug. 12 announcement in Singapore.

Oracle said its new Fusion Agentic Applications and AI agents for human resources are designed to help organizations respond to changing workforce needs by connecting employee skills, learning, work and workforce planning.

The tools are built into Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management and use coordinated teams of specialized AI agents that can access enterprise data, workflows, policies, approval hierarchies, permissions and transaction context.

“Too many organizations still rely on talent systems that wait for people to identify problems before taking action,” said Lewis Thompson, senior vice president of applications development at Oracle. “The new Fusion Agentic Applications and AI agents within Oracle Cloud HCM help organizations adopt a talent agility strategy that continuously connects work, skills, learning, and workforce planning. With this new operating model for talent agility, organizations can keep roles current, guide better development and mobility decisions, and respond to workforce change before it becomes a business challenge.”

The new tools cover work architecture, learning and development, manager coaching, employee growth and mobility, and workforce planning.

Work architecture tools include the Job Architect Agent for role design, the Intelligent Talent Profiles Agent for maintaining employee talent profiles using connected work-system data, and the Role Guide Generation Agent for creating job requirements and related documentation.

For learning and development, Oracle introduced Autonomous Content Authoring, Agentic Courses and Skills and Learning Assignment Management. The tools are designed to assist with content creation, personalized learning, training assignments and compliance monitoring.

The Manager Coaching Workspace and Learning Representative for Managers Agent are designed to provide managers with recommendations and information related to employee development and learning activities.

For employees, Grow Coach provides guided development plans, while the Enterprise Tutor Agent can answer questions, recommend learning content and help employees identify development opportunities.

Workforce planning tools include the Workforce Skills Supply vs. Demand Agent, Careers-of-Interest Skills Supply vs. Demand Agent and Development Resource Cold-Spot Analysis Agent. Oracle said these tools are designed to help organizations assess skills availability, identify potential career opportunities and target development investments.

Oracle Cloud HCM also includes AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, which allows customers to build, connect and run AI automation and agentic applications using Oracle, partner and external agents.

Oracle said the AI capabilities are intended to automate routine HR work and guide talent decisions while keeping people in control of business-critical decisions.
