FINTECH | Maya offers shared credit limit for two cards
The arrangement allows cardholders to use either card while purchases made on both are deducted from the same total available credit.
Maya is offering eligible cardholders the option to hold its Landers Cashback Everywhere Credit Card and Maya Black Credit Card under a single shared credit limit.
The arrangement allows cardholders to use either card while purchases made on both are deducted from the same total available credit. Each card continues to have its own Statement of Account for tracking transactions and payments.
The Landers Cashback Everywhere Credit Card offers 5% cashback at Landers Superstore, 2% on dining and 1% on most other transactions, according to Maya. Accumulated cashback can be used toward purchases at Landers.
The Maya Black Credit Card offers up to 10x Maya Miles at Maya Black Preferred Merchants. Maya Miles can be redeemed for travel and lifestyle rewards.
Cardholders can manage both cards through the Maya app, including monitoring spending for each card and checking the remaining amount under their shared credit limit.
Maya said the shared-limit arrangement gives eligible customers the option to use either card depending on the rewards associated with a purchase, without having separate credit limits for each card.
