These efforts help create a Philippines by championing initiatives that promote a culture of preparedness, providing immediate response through network resilience, continuous availability of communication services, and relief assistance to communities affected by disasters, and aid in recovery. Altogether, they underscore PLDT and Smart’s thrust to help the Philippines attain the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG # 11 on Sustainable Cities and Communities.
