YII 2024 | NLEx-SLEx Connector Road Project wins at ‘Going Digital Awards’

VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Bentley Systems, Incorporated, the infrastructure engineering software company, recently announced the winners of the 2024 Going Digital Awards. The annual awards honor the extraordinary work of infrastructure professionals and their innovative use of Bentley software to improve the way infrastructure is designed, built, and operated.

This year, 250 projects were nominated by organizations in 36 countries. Winners were selected from among 36 finalists in 12 categories by a panel of independent judges during Bentley’s Year in Infrastructure event, held October 8 and 9 in Vancouver, Canada.

The Philippines very own NLEx-SLEx Connector Road Project in Caloocan City won an award under Roads and Highways categorty, while Maynilad Water Services Inc.’ Network Design using OpenFlows WaterGEMS for Distribution of Direct Potable Reused Water in Parañaque City was the recipient for the 2024 Founders’ Honors.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) was represented by Engr. David Galang, Asean engineer, division chief, Public-Private Partnership Service, and Engr. Jame Chavez, also of Public-Private Partnership Service. They accepted the coveted award for extraordinary work advancing infrastructure design, construction and operations using Bentley Systems software at a black-tie ceremony inside J.W. Marriott Hotel, Vancouver on October 9.

“This year, we received an impressive variety of submissions for the Going Digital Awards from users across the globe, showcasing groundbreaking projects that exemplify the future of infrastructure,” said Kristin Fallon, chief marketing officer at Bentley Systems. “Today, we celebrate the extraordinary achievements of our finalists and winners. These visionary teams demonstrate the power of going digital across the infrastructure lifecycle to improve project delivery and asset performance.”
