SINGAPORE – Oracle NetSuite is rolling out a batch of new AI features and software updates aimed at helping businesses in Southeast Asia get more done with less friction. The updates include everything from smarter financial planning tools to mobile-friendly field service apps, all designed with regional needs in mind.
“With new predictive, generative, and agentic AI capabilities embedded in NetSuite and expanded access to enterprise-grade capabilities, organisations of all sizes in Southeast Asia can gain more value from the suite,” said Gary Wiessinger, senior vice president of Application Development, Oracle NetSuite. “The latest additions will help customers improve business visibility, boost productivity, and gain the insights they need to adapt to changing business needs and stay ahead of the competition.”
One of the bigger updates is the launch of NetSuite Field Service Management in Singapore and the Philippines. It connects scheduling, dispatch, inventory, and asset tracking into a single mobile app, aimed at streamlining day-to-day work for service teams.
NetSuite is also adding new tools for financial planning through its Enterprise Performance Management offering, which helps tie together operations, reporting, and tax processes. Meanwhile, updates to NetSuite Analytics Warehouse aim to make data crunching faster and more accessible.
There are some nonprofit-specific upgrades too, like grant tracking tools and a version of SuiteSuccess tailored for social impact organizations. And to stay aligned with local regulations, NetSuite has added support for e-invoicing and tax reporting in Singapore, the Philippines, and Malaysia.
Another interesting move is NetSuite’s shift in licensing. Instead of requiring full access for every user, companies can now buy task-specific licenses for warehouse and CRM roles—something that could cut costs for a lot of teams.
The updates are already being rolled out across the region, with NetSuite saying they’re meant to help businesses respond to changing conditions and stay more agile.
