Radenta Technologies and Danish ed-tech firm Shape Robotics are expanding their partnership to support robotics-based learning across the Philippines, reinforcing efforts to integrate science and technology in classrooms nationwide.

The collaboration recently reached key education events, including the Special Curricular Program (SCP) Teachers’ Schools Division Office (SDO) training at Vista Marina Hotel in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, and a tech-driven academic forum at De La Salle Dasmariñas and De La Salle Zobel.

Shape Robotics, known for its modular educational robot Fable, promotes “techducation”—a method of teaching STEM through technology. The Fable system is already in use in more than 12,000 schools globally and is gaining traction in Philippine academic institutions through Radenta’s outreach.

The Fable system supports both beginner and advanced programming, using visual coding tools like Blockly and text-based languages such as Python. Its hardware includes servo motors, sensors, and an AI-enabled camera, making it compatible with platforms like Raspberry Pi and Arduino.

Fable integrates with popular tools like Google Classroom and Microsoft Teams, and it supports learning management systems for curriculum delivery. Students can also explore artificial intelligence, object detection, and Internet of Things (IoT) projects with the system.

Designed for fast setup and ease of use, Fable offers a plug-and-play approach without complicated wiring, allowing students to immediately begin building and coding. Its modular structure supports cross-disciplinary instruction in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), and aims to enhance creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Fable robots are built with durable materials suitable for classroom environments and feature long battery life, encrypted Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connectivity, and privacy-focused data handling. Educators can access curriculum-aligned lesson plans, training workshops, and video tutorials.

The initiative between Radenta and Shape Robotics aims to make robotics education more accessible and future-ready in Philippine schools, offering hands-on tools for both students and educators to keep pace with global trends in STEM learning.
