Seagate Technology has launched its new Ultra Compact SSD in the Philippines, offering a durable, lightweight, and high-speed storage solution for users on the move. Available in 1TB and 2TB capacities, the portable SSD hits transfer speeds of up to 1,000MB/s and is designed for use with PCs, phones, tablets, and gaming devices.
The thumb-sized device supports direct USB-C connectivity, eliminating the need for cables, and is compatible with Windows, macOS, Android, iPhone, tablets, and game consoles. Built for everyday use and travel, it features a rugged design with 3-meter drop resistance, IP54-rated dust and water protection, and a removable rubber sleeve.
In line with Seagate’s sustainability efforts, the drive is made with at least 35% recycled materials by weight.
The Ultra Compact SSD also includes a 3-year limited warranty and 3-year Seagate Rescue Data Recovery Services. Additional bundled features include Seagate Toolkit software, a 6-month Dropbox Backup trial, and 6-month access to Mylio Photos+.
The SSD is available starting July 4 in authorized Seagate retailers and online stores across the country. Retail prices are P5,749 for the 1TB model and P10,499 for the 2TB variant. Early buyers from June 27 to July 15 are eligible for a P500 eGift voucher as part of a limited-time promotion.
