GADGETS | Smart launches iPhone 17 Series pre-orders with exclusive data rewards, perks
Smart is “going all out” with its pre-order deals to help subscribers maximize Apple’s latest smartphones on Smart’s 5G network.
Telecom giant, Smart Communications Inc., has opened pre-orders for Apple’s new iPhone 17 Series, offering postpaid, prepaid, and Infinity customers exclusive data rewards, installment options, and launch-day freebies until October 31.
The telco said it is “going all out” with its pre-order deals to help subscribers maximize Apple’s latest smartphones on Smart’s 5G network.
Postpaid plans with unlimited 5G access
New and renewing Smart Postpaid customers can get the iPhone 17 (256GB) or iPhone Air with Plans+ 1499, which includes 12 months of unlimited 5G, 40GB for all apps and sites, a Netflix Mobile subscription, unlimited texts and calls to all networks and landlines, and lifestyle perks from partner brands.
Under the plan, new subscribers can get the iPhone 17 for a P18,400 down payment and P1,500 monthly amortization over 24 months. Recontracting users can pay P2,204 per month for the same model or P2,758 per month for the iPhone Air (256GB), inclusive of a free eSIM upgrade.
Customers may also choose the iPhone 17 Pro or 17 Pro Max under Plans+ 1999, which comes with 12 months of unlimited 5G, 60GB open access data, Netflix Mobile, and premium lifestyle rewards.
The devices are available with a 0% installment option—P69,800 for the iPhone 17 Pro (256GB) and P79,500 for the 17 Pro Max (256GB).
As part of Smart’s pre-order offer, subscribers who sign up between Oct. 9 and Oct. 31 will receive 17GB of free 5G data weekly for 17 weeks, plus unlimited data for 17 days during launch. Customers ordering online within the same period will also get a P1,700 bill rebate.
Infinity, prepaid offers
Smart Infinity members can get any iPhone 17 model with unlimited data, calls, and texts, along with up to P4,500 in monthly consumables for premium subscriptions such as iCloud, Apple Music, and Apple TV+. Members also get access to a 24/7 concierge service and, for higher-tier plans, a dedicated relationship manager.
For prepaid users, Smart offers device-only options, with the iPhone 17 available for as low as P2,425 per month for 24 months at 0% interest. Prepaid customers who pre-order will receive a free eSIM and 1.7GB of bonus data weekly for 17 weeks.
Powered by Apple’s A19 chip
The iPhone 17 Series runs on Apple’s A19 chip for faster performance and better energy efficiency. It features a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with ProMotion technology and comes in Black, White, Mist Blue, Sage, and Lavender.
