TRAVEL | Emirates offers more flexible travel options
For travel anywhere on the Emirates network, passengers with tickets booked from April 2 can make one free date change, including itineraries connecting through Dubai.
Travelers flying to Dubai from Aug. 10 can change their travel dates an unlimited number of times without a fee under expanded flexibility measures from Emirates, while passengers across its network can receive one free date change on eligible tickets.
The Dubai offer applies to Economy Saver through Flex fares and Business Class Special, Saver and Flex fares. Economy Flex Plus, Premium Economy, Business Flex Plus and First Class fares remain fully flexible. Applicable fare differences may apply.
Refund fees for flights to Dubai have also been reduced. Economy Saver fares will carry a $50 refund fee, while Economy Flex fares will have a $25 fee. In Business Class, refund fees will be $50 for Special and Saver fares and $25 for Flex fares. No-show fees remain unchanged.

The airline is also offering its Comprehensive Travel Cover, which includes trip cancellation, baggage delay and loss, unlimited worldwide medical expenses and emergency evacuation. The insurance includes conflict-related coverage with reimbursement of medical expenses of up to $25,000 and a free trip extension of up to 30 days.
The coverage is available in 27 countries and can be purchased during booking or added to an existing reservation through Manage Booking. For flight disruptions, Emirates said it will provide accommodation for affected customers. Passengers affected by disrupted onward connections on other airlines or unavailable Emirates services can be rebooked to their destinations at no additional cost, including when cancellations result from airspace disruptions.
Emirates Skywards members can also receive additional benefits through Aug. 31, including 20% fewer Tier Miles required to reach Silver, Gold and Platinum status and 20% bonus Tier Miles on Emirates and flydubai flights.
Members can also use Cash+Miles at a promotional rate of 2,000 Miles for $30, compared with the usual $15, for Emirates and flydubai flights, excess baggage, lounge access and seat selection.
