BUSINESS TECH | Tenable expands AI security integrations
The program supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and direct application programming interfaces, allowing organizations to integrate their preferred AI tools rather than rely on a single proprietary platform.

Tenable has expanded its technology partner network with a new program that connects its exposure intelligence platform with third-party artificial intelligence models, agents and tools to help security teams investigate threats and prioritize vulnerabilities.
Announced Oct. 21, 2026, in the Asia-Pacific region, Tenable OPEN for AI provides validated workflows that connect security tools across platforms. The program is part of the company’s Tenable Open Partner Exchange Network and includes launch partners BeyondTrust, Cohesity, Command Zero, Corelight, Infoblox, Recorded Future, Securonix, SentinelOne, Setyl, Snyk, Sparkle In and Splunk.
The program supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and direct application programming interfaces, allowing organizations to integrate their preferred AI tools rather than rely on a single proprietary platform, Tenable said.
“By supporting both standardized MCP connectors and direct APIs, Tenable OPEN for AI provides security teams complete freedom to integrate their AI tools of choice and build custom, agentic workflows without artificial restrictions or forcing reliance on a single proprietary platform,” said Eric Doerr, Tenable’s chief product officer.
The integrations allow security teams to query information across multiple vendors through existing AI tools without developing custom software. Workflows are available as documented instructions that teams can replicate using the Tenable Hexa AI MCP Server or as ready-to-use skills on CyberAgents Exchange, an AI agent marketplace powered by Tenable.
Initial applications include cross-platform security triage with SentinelOne, which combines endpoint alerts with vulnerability and misconfiguration data; network threat analysis with Corelight, which adds asset context to help assess the potential impact of threats; and code-to-runtime risk correlation with Snyk, which helps determine whether code-level vulnerabilities are present in production environments.
Another integration with BeyondTrust combines privileged account, session and entitlement data with Tenable findings to help prioritize risks using identity information.
Other partners highlighted additional applications. Splunk can associate alerts with Tenable vulnerability context to help analysts assess whether affected assets face active threats. Infoblox combines network identity information with exposure intelligence, while Command Zero links priority exposure findings to investigations and returns approved verdicts to Tenable.
