CYBERSECURITY | Keeper Security, Tenable integrate cloud risk remediation
The integration allows security teams to act on findings identified by Tenable through Keeper’s platform, including rotating exposed credentials, enforcing just-in-time (JIT) access and removing standing privileges.

Keeper Security and Tenable have integrated their security platforms to help organizations remediate cloud vulnerabilities and manage credentials for vulnerability scans, the companies announced Oct. 16, 2026, in Singapore.
The integration allows security teams to act on findings identified by Tenable through Keeper’s platform, including rotating exposed credentials, enforcing just-in-time (JIT) access and removing standing privileges. Keeper can also notify Tenable when remediation is complete, allowing findings to be marked as resolved without manual follow-up.
“Organisations can’t remediate findings if they aren’t properly equipped to take action immediately,” said Darren Guccione, CEO and co-founder of Keeper Security. He said the integration enables cloud security teams to implement fixes in seconds instead of weeks as AI-powered threats increase the pressure on cyber defenders.
The integration is designed to reduce the delays associated with manually coordinating vulnerability detection and remediation across multiple tools. Tenable identifies exposed identities, risky access paths and cloud misconfigurations, while Keeper provides controls to address selected findings.
The companies also integrated Keeper Commander with Tenable to centralize credentials used in authenticated vulnerability scans. Instead of storing passwords and SSH keys in Tenable scan policies, organizations can store them in Keeper and allow Tenable to retrieve them when scans run.
Credentialed scans let security tools log in to target systems to examine installed software, configuration settings, patch levels and compliance status. The integration supports Secure Shell (SSH), Windows Server Message Block (SMB) and database credentials. Keeper can rotate credentials, with Tenable retrieving updated values during subsequent scans without requiring manual policy changes.
Craig Lurey, CTO and co-founder of Keeper Security, said the integration connects Tenable’s cloud detection capabilities with Keeper’s remediation controls while keeping unencrypted data within the customer’s environment.
Keeper said its self-hosted Encrypter gateway receives webhook traffic from Tenable and encrypts data exchanges using customer-managed private keys. The companies said synchronization takes place through encrypted channels within the organization’s perimeter, while remediation actions are recorded for audit and compliance purposes.
The integrations are available to Keeper customers with active KeeperPAM licenses, according to the company.
