Smart Communications has rolled out a new prepaid plug-and-play router, the Smart 5G Max Home WiFi, aimed at families, students, and small businesses in need of reliable connectivity without long-term contracts or fiber installation.
Powered by Smart’s 5G network, the device is available at P2,495, half its regular price, and comes bundled with 15 days of free unlimited data. Users can pair it with Smart’s prepaid promos, including unlimited and large-capacity data packages, depending on their needs.
Smart said the router is designed to serve areas without fiber facilities, giving households instant internet access for work, online classes, gaming, and streaming. Its prepaid setup allows students and young professionals to control spending without a lock-in period, making it suitable for temporary housing or shared spaces.
Micro-entrepreneurs can also use the device to support digital payments, livestream selling, and customer WiFi access. Data promos include Big Data 499, offering 120 GB for 15 days, and Big Data 999, with 250 GB for 30 days.
The Smart 5G Max Home WiFi is available through the Smart Online Store, Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and Smart retail outlets nationwide. Top-ups can be made via the Smart app, online channels, e-wallets, or accredited retailers.
