Soundcore has introduced two open-ear, clip-on earbuds in the Philippines, expanding options for users seeking alternatives to in-ear audio devices.
The soundcore C50i uses an open-ring, clip-on design that rests on the outer ear instead of entering the ear canal. It is built with titanium wire and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), distributing weight across the ear to reduce pressure during extended use. The design also allows users to remain aware of their surroundings while listening.
The C50i is equipped with a 12 mm driver and supports LDAC for high-resolution wireless audio streaming. It uses AI-based processing to enhance low frequencies and includes a directional sound port to minimize audio leakage.
For calls, the device features dual microphones with AI noise reduction. It supports Bluetooth multipoint connectivity, enabling simultaneous pairing with two devices. Additional features are accessible through the companion app, including AI-based translation tools.
Battery life is rated at up to 7 hours per charge, with a total of 28 hours using the charging case. A 10-minute fast charge provides up to 2 hours of playback. The earbuds carry an IP55 rating for resistance to dust and water.
The higher-tier soundcore AeroClip offers a similar open-ear form factor with upgraded components. It uses a 12 mm titanium-coated driver and supports customizable sound profiles through the app. The device includes full-surface tap controls and compatibility with voice assistants.
The AeroClip delivers up to 8 hours of playback per charge and up to 32 hours with the charging case. A 10-minute charge provides up to 3 hours of use. It also supports multipoint connectivity and features four beamforming microphones for calls. The device has an IPX4 water-resistance rating.
The soundcore C50i is priced at P3,295, while the AeroClip is available for P6,995 through official online stores in the Philippines.
