vivo is showcasing new smartphone capabilities focused on mobile photography and user personalization as part of efforts to strengthen its position in the mid- to high-end device market.

The company highlighted the imaging performance of the vivo X300 Pro alongside new interactive features on the vivo V70 aimed at enhancing creative expression and everyday user experience.

The vivo X300 Pro is positioned as a photography-focused device, featuring a 200-megapixel telephoto camera developed with ZEISS optics. The smartphone supports extended zoom capabilities and is designed to capture detailed images of distant subjects, particularly in urban environments.

Manila-based photographer Jamir Lyndon Lumbao used the device in street photography, capturing everyday scenes with a focus on light, reflections and composition. He said the phone’s telephoto capabilities and imaging accessories allowed for clearer shots of distant subjects in real-world conditions.

The device supports up to 85mm optical zoom and can extend further when paired with an external telephoto accessory. It is also compatible with a grip kit designed to improve handling and provide manual controls for photography.

Separately, vivo introduced the V70 with a feature called Flip Card, developed in collaboration with POP MART’s character Zsiga. The feature uses motion sensors to enable dynamic lock screen visuals that respond to device movement, allowing users to customize how images transition on screen.

The V70 also supports AI-based image effects, including a “Magic Weather” feature that adjusts portrait visuals based on simulated lighting conditions throughout the day.

The devices are available through vivo retail stores and online platforms in the Philippines, with the X300 series starting at P68,999 and the V70 priced from P31,999.

vivo said the new features reflect growing demand for smartphones that combine advanced imaging capabilities with interactive and personalized user interfaces.
