Printed displays continue to play a central role in how businesses communicate in physical environments such as malls, events and offices, even as digital channels expand.

Across retail spaces, events and workplaces, printed materials — from storefront graphics to large backdrops — are widely used to guide visitors, highlight key messages and reinforce branding. These displays serve both functional and visual purposes, helping businesses communicate clearly at specific touchpoints.

In retail, printed signage supports navigation and product visibility. At events, large-scale visuals establish presence and communicate identity from the outset. In offices, printed materials support internal communication and reinforce a consistent brand look across shared spaces.

Epson Philippines Corp. said it continues to support these use cases through its large-format printing systems, drawing on decades of printing technology development. These systems are used in commercial settings where consistent output and reliability are required.

One example is the Epson SureColor SC-S7130 64-inch eco-solvent printer, designed for signage and display production. The printer supports a range of applications, including window graphics, promotional posters, event backdrops and directional signage.

The system produces sharp text and detailed images that remain clear at large sizes, enabling visibility in both retail and event environments. It is also suited for office use that requires branded or informational materials.

The SC-S7130 is built for continuous operation, with a PrecisionCore MicroTFP printhead that supports faster production while maintaining image quality. A media feeding system helps reduce errors during extended runs.

High-capacity ink packs allow longer print cycles with fewer interruptions, reducing downtime for print providers and in-house teams. Additional features, including a temperature sensor and text sharpness mode, support color accuracy and improve detail.

The printer supports commonly used materials such as PVC, banners and window graphics, allowing businesses to produce different types of signage using one system.

Masako Kusama, president and director of Epson Philippines Corp., said printed materials remain relevant for on-site communication as companies adapt their physical environments.

“As businesses rethink and redesign their physical spaces, printed displays continue to support communication, branding and day-to-day operations,” Kusama said.
