CYBERSECURITY | Group-IB named Gartner cyber threat intelligence leader
Group-IB said its threat intelligence platform is built on more than two decades of cybercrime investigations, proprietary telemetry, and around-the-clock monitoring of underground cybercrime ecosystems.

Group-IB has been named a Leader in the inaugural 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cyberthreat Intelligence Technologies, joining five vendors recognized in the report’s top category.
The Singapore-headquartered cybersecurity company said Gartner evaluated 18 vendors in the first edition of the report, which assessed firms based on completeness of vision and ability to execute.
Group-IB said its recognition was driven by its predictive threat intelligence platform and Unified Risk Platform, which combine threat intelligence, fraud detection, managed extended detection and response (XDR), sandboxing, and investigations into a consolidated system.
According to the company, Gartner highlighted its verticalized intelligence capabilities, including dark web monitoring, incident response validation, proprietary fraud telemetry, Border Gateway Protocol threat monitoring, and Cyber Fraud Fusion technology. These capabilities were noted for sectors such as financial services, telecommunications, government, and law enforcement.
The company said its threat intelligence platform is built on more than two decades of cybercrime investigations, proprietary telemetry, and around-the-clock monitoring of underground cybercrime ecosystems. Group-IB added that its systems have supported more than 1,500 investigations with international law enforcement agencies, including INTERPOL, Europol, and AFRIPOL.
“Cybersecurity can no longer be reactive, and organizations need adversary-centric, predictive intelligence from unique threat intelligence sources that helps them anticipate attacks before they materialize,” Group-IB CEO Dmitry Volkov said in a statement.
Group-IB said its Cyber Fraud Fusion model combines fraud intelligence with cybersecurity intelligence to address the increasing overlap between ransomware groups and online fraud operations.
The company was established in 2003 and operates Digital Crime Resistance Centers across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, and the Asia-Pacific region.
