GADGETS | ASUS ROG launches 2026 Zephyrus Duo, G16, G14 gaming laptops in the Philippines

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has launched its 2026 Zephyrus gaming laptop lineup in the Philippines, introducing new Zephyrus Duo, Zephyrus G16, and Zephyrus G14 models powered by Intel Core Ultra processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs.

Available beginning June 24, the new lineup targets gamers, creators, and power users with upgraded displays, cooling systems, and AI-ready hardware.

Leading the lineup is the ROG Zephyrus Duo (GX651AX), which features two 16-inch touchscreen displays with 120Hz refresh rates, creating a combined 32-inch workspace. The laptop uses 3K ROG Nebula HDR OLED panels with up to 1,100 nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, and Dolby Vision HDR support.

The Zephyrus Duo is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with up to 150W Max TGP, 64GB LPDDR5X memory, and a 2TB SSD. It supports multiple usage modes, including Laptop, Dual-Screen, Book, Tent, and Sharing modes through ASUS ScreenXpert. The model carries a suggested retail price of P559,995.

The refreshed Zephyrus G16 (GU606) retains its 1.49cm aluminum chassis and 1.85kg weight while offering configurations with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor and GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with a 160W TGP. It also features a 16-inch 2.5K ROG Nebula HDR OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate, NVIDIA G-SYNC, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black certification.

ASUS said the G16 includes a 90Wh battery capable of charging from 0% to 50% in 30 minutes and uses an updated cooling system featuring Tri-Fan Technology, Liquid Metal, and redesigned airflow.

The G16 starts at P289,995 for the RTX 5070 Ti variant, while the RTX 5090 configuration is priced at P429,995.

For users seeking a smaller form factor, the Zephyrus G14 (GU405) combines a 1.59cm profile with a 1.5kg chassis. It features up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU with a 130W TGP, and a 14-inch 3K 120Hz ROG Nebula HDR OLED display with NVIDIA G-SYNC.

The G14 also introduces an updated thermal design with thicker heat pipes, additional copper fins, and improved ventilation to increase airflow while reducing operating noise.

The RTX 5070 configuration starts at P224,995, while the RTX 5080 model is priced at P324,995. ASUS said Ryzen-powered Zephyrus G14 variants will remain available in the local market.

All 2026 Zephyrus models include a three-year international and local warranty, one year of accidental damage protection, gaming accessories, Microsoft 365 Basic, PC Game Pass, and cloud storage benefits. ASUS also said its ROG Slash Collection 4.0 bags will arrive in Philippine ROG stores starting July.
