COMMUNITY | PLDT Global wins four Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards
PLDT Global also received a Bronze Stevie Award for ACC 2025, an event that brings together telecommunications, technology, and enterprise leaders to promote industry collaboration and partnerships.
PLDT Global, the international business unit of PLDT Inc., received one Gold and four Bronze honors at the Asia Pacific Stevie Awards for initiatives supporting overseas Filipinos, digital inclusion, and industry collaboration.
The company’s highest recognition was a Gold Stevie Award for TinBo (Tindahan ni Bossing), a digital marketplace designed for overseas Filipinos. The platform enables users to purchase digital products and services for their families in the Philippines while providing access to the Smart Virtual Number, a cloud-based Philippine mobile number that supports communications, authentication, and financial services.
According to PLDT Global, TinBo serves more than 500,000 Filipinos across the Middle East, North America, Europe, and Asia. The company said commerce and payment transactions on the platform posted a 430% compound annual growth rate over the past three years.
PLDT Global also received a Bronze Stevie Award for ACC 2025, an event that brings together telecommunications, technology, and enterprise leaders to discuss partnerships and digital innovation.
Another Bronze award recognized Hong Kong Fest 2025, a weeklong Philippine Independence Day celebration that engaged overseas Filipino communities through cultural activities while promoting digital connectivity and community engagement.
Albert V. Villa-Real, president and CEO of PLDT Global, received a Bronze Stevie Award for Thought Leadership. The award cited his efforts to expand partnerships and digital platforms supporting overseas Filipinos and digital inclusion initiatives across multiple markets.
Villa-Real said the awards recognize the company’s efforts to use technology to deliver practical benefits to communities.
“These recognitions reflect our shared commitment to using technology to create real impact—from empowering global Filipinos through TinBo, to advancing digital inclusion, education, and cybersecurity across communities,” he said.
He added that the recognition supports PLDT Global’s goal of “powering a hyperconnected future—one that creates opportunities, uplifts lives, and bridges digital divides.”
The Asia Pacific Stevie Awards recognize innovation in business organizations across the Asia-Pacific region.
