The Singapore Space Summit will return Feb. 25-26, 2027, with an expanded program focused on the commercial space industry, emerging technologies and startup development in Asia-Pacific.

The event will be held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. It is organized by Experia Events and supported by the National Space Agency of Singapore.

The 2027 summit will carry the theme “Connecting the New Space Economy: Where Space, Connectivity and Economic Resilience Converge,” with sessions examining orbital sustainability, the commercial space economy, dual-use technologies, technological sovereignty, artificial intelligence and space security.

The inaugural summit in February 2026 drew more than 2,000 attendees, 300 companies and organizations, more than 60 international speakers, representatives from 20 national space agencies and delegations from 43 countries and regions, according to organizers.

The 2027 program will include a Heads of Space Agencies panel, which will examine opportunities, challenges and priorities for the global space sector.

Other sessions will examine how space situational awareness, traffic coordination and governance frameworks can address the growing number of satellites and constellations in orbit.

The summit will also look at the commercial space economy, including the challenges of scaling deep-tech ventures, investment opportunities and the development of funding ecosystems in Asia.

Dual-use technologies and technological sovereignty will be discussed in the context of supply-chain security, the overlap between commercial and security applications, and efforts to strengthen technological independence through investment, regulation and partnerships.

Another session will examine the use of satellite data, geospatial intelligence and AI-powered digital twins for urban planning, infrastructure management and climate resilience in Asia.

Space security and cyber resilience will also be part of the program, with discussions on strengthening space infrastructure, developing sovereign capabilities and increasing regional cooperation.

ST Engineering will return as a Founding Partner. The company has capabilities in satellite design and manufacturing, ground station services, Earth observation and geospatial analytics.

The summit will also expand its Singapore Pavilion in collaboration with the Association of Aerospace Industries Singapore. The pavilion will feature more Singapore-based companies and give them opportunities to connect with international customers, partners and investors.

French-headquartered aerospace, space and defense innovation platform Starburst will join as an Innovation Partner. It will help identify startups, contribute to program development and establish a dedicated program for Seed and Series A companies.

The startup program will connect space and deep-tech companies with investors, government agencies, established industry players and commercial end users across Southeast Asia and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

Starburst said it has identified more than 15,000 startups, completed more than 150 investments and worked with more than 100 corporate and government partners worldwide.

Unseenlabs will join the 2027 summit as a Co-Sponsor.

Further details on the conference program, speakers and registration will be announced in the coming months.
