MOBILITY | VinFast delivers 21,781 EVs in Vietnam in July

EV maker VinFast delivered 21,781 electric vehicles in Vietnam in July, a 21% increase from June, bringing its total deliveries in the country to 137,697 vehicles for the first seven months of 2026.
The company said the July results strengthened its position as Vietnam’s market leader, which it has held for nearly two consecutive years.
The VF 3 was VinFast’s best-selling model in July, with 5,564 units delivered. Its year-to-date deliveries reached 29,345 units.
The VF 5 and Herio Green recorded combined July deliveries of 4,407 units, bringing their year-to-date total to 24,574. The Limo Green followed with 4,404 units delivered in July, taking its year-to-date total to 32,331 units and making it VinFast’s best-selling model for the year so far.

The company also reported July deliveries of 1,993 VF 6 units and 1,674 VF MPV 7 units. Their year-to-date totals reached 16,038 and 10,851 units, respectively. The VF 7, VF 8, VF 9 and EC Van also contributed to July deliveries.
“Delivering 137,697 electric vehicles to customers in just the first seven months of the year marks another record for VinFast in the Vietnamese automotive market,” said Duong Thi Thu Trang, deputy CEO of global automotive sales at VinFast.
“This reflects the strong momentum in both new vehicle purchases and the transition from gasoline-powered cars to electric vehicles, allowing more consumers to enjoy the tangible benefits that EVs offer,” she said.
VinFast expects to begin delivering the next-generation VF 8 in August to customers who made early reservations. The VF 2, which has secured 28,742 reservations, is scheduled for customer deliveries in September.
