LG Electronics is showcasing connected home, energy management and entertainment technologies at IFA 2026, including an AI home hub, a text-based AI agent, space-efficient appliances and new displays.

The company’s exhibit in Hall 18 at Messe Berlin features an expanded AI Home ecosystem centered on LG ThinQ ON and the LG ThinQ platform. LG said the system is designed to connect appliances, spaces and services and use contextual information to provide personalized functions.

The exhibit’s LG AI Orchestra features a 16-by-4-meter kinetic LED installation with LG CLOiD presented as the conductor of an ecosystem spanning home appliances, TVs, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and robotics.

ThinQ Claw, a text-chat-based AI agent integrated with ThinQ ON, is making its public debut at IFA. It uses natural-language interaction and contextual information to recommend actions based on household conditions, user preferences and daily routines.

LG is also demonstrating ThinQ Pro, a business-to-business management solution that provides centralized control and monitoring of appliances and HVAC systems in commercial and multifamily environments.

Another demonstration features Home Energy Management System (HEMS) powered by Homey, a smart home platform developed by Athom, which LG acquired in 2024. The system coordinates energy generation, storage and consumption across a home. LG said the solutions shown at IFA may not be available in the Philippines.

LG’s Fit & Max Solution, developed for European homes, expands its built-in-style appliance design from refrigerators to washing machines, dryers and dishwashers. The company is also showing dishwashers capable of completing a wash-and-dry cycle in one hour under an algorithm setting, although actual operating time may vary depending on conditions and selected options.

The Energy Leadership Zone features appliances using LG’s energy-efficiency technologies, including Dual Inverter Heat Pump and inverter compressor systems. One washing machine on display has an Energy Efficiency Index 70% lower than the minimum requirement for an A rating under European Union standards, based on specified test conditions. LG noted that European energy ratings are not equivalent to the Philippine energy label or star-rating system.

For entertainment, LG is displaying its 2026 OLED evo AI and Micro RGB evo AI televisions, both powered by the α11 AI Processor 4K Gen3. The exhibit also includes the LG OLED W6 Wallpaper OLED TV with True Wireless, StanbyME 2 Max and a Sound Suite home audio system.

LG is also introducing an UltraGear monitor supporting both FHD resolution and a 1,000Hz refresh rate. The company said the monitor is the world’s first of its kind based on publicly available information as of May 19, 2026.

The LG SIGNATURE section features appliances with AI functions, including a refrigerator with conversational voice recognition and a 30-inch wall oven that combines an internal AI camera with AI Gourmet to recognize dishes and suggest cooking modes.

“At IFA 2026, we are showcasing how our expanded AI Home ecosystem can seamlessly connect AI appliances, home hubs and intelligent services to provide exceptionally convenient and personalized customer experiences,” said Baek Seung-tae, president of the LG Home Appliance Solution Company.

“With differentiated products and solutions tailored to European lifestyles and living environments, we will continue to strengthen our leadership in the European premium home appliance market,” he added.
