Participants can learn about Emirates’ Narrowbody to Widebody Direct Entry Captain Campaign, recruitment procedures, training programs, career progression and employee benefits.

Emirates will hold its first pilot recruitment roadshow in the Philippines on Oct. 28-29 in Manila as the airline seeks experienced commercial pilots to support its expanding global operations.
The recruitment event, organized in cooperation with Industrial Personnel and Management Services Inc. (IPAMS), will offer information on opportunities for First Officers, Direct Entry Captains and applicants to the Accelerated Command Programme.
Sessions are scheduled for 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Oct. 28 and 10 a.m. on Oct. 29. Interested pilots can register through the airline’s [online registration form](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSebqfeQvRgxRzvV5xJGZGgKBhxlXWC H72MqLugUwAsryNQdaA/viewform).
Participants can learn about Emirates’ Narrowbody to Widebody Direct Entry Captain Campaign, recruitment procedures, training programs, career progression and employee benefits. They will also have the opportunity to speak with pilots currently working for the airline.
Khalid Al Zarooni, Emirates’ country manager for the Philippines, said the airline offers pilots the opportunity to fly a wide-body fleet across an international network, undergo in-house training and be based in Dubai.
“We look forward to welcoming more pilots from the Philippines onboard our airline as we ramp up our operations globally,” Al Zarooni said.
Emirates said its pilot benefits include a tax-free salary, 42 days of annual leave with tickets for employees and their immediate families, company-provided accommodation, a child education allowance, and life, medical and dental insurance. Employees also receive discounted travel benefits for extended family members and friends.
New recruits undergo competency-based training at the airline’s facilities in Dubai. These include the Emirates Crew Training Centre, a $135 million facility with six full-flight simulator bays for Airbus A350 and Boeing 777X aircraft.
The airline said it has taken delivery of 27 Airbus A350 aircraft, with another 47 on order, alongside 270 Boeing 777X aircraft.
Emirates currently operates 32 weekly flights connecting Manila, Cebu and Clark to its Dubai hub, following a capacity expansion earlier this year. The airline has served the Philippines for 36 years.
More information on pilot eligibility, career opportunities and benefits is available on the Emirates careers website.
