ENTERTAINMENT | Pokémon truck brings Pokopia to Metro Manila
The Pokémon Company said the 17-foot truck will feature six Nintendo Switch 2 gaming stations, with four dedicated to “Pokémon Pokopia” and two offering other Nintendo games at selected stops.

A Pokémon-themed gaming truck will tour malls across Metro Manila from Oct. 2 to Jan. 24, 2027, giving fans a chance to play “Pokémon Pokopia” on Nintendo Switch 2.
The Pokémon Company said the 17-foot truck will feature six Nintendo Switch 2 gaming stations, with four dedicated to “Pokémon Pokopia” and two offering other Nintendo games at selected stops.
Players at the four “Pokémon Pokopia” stations can create their own worlds with Pokémon. Each station will include a Nintendo Switch 2 system, a themed board and instructions, with staff available to assist visitors.
The custom-built truck also features LED displays and sofa seating. Visitors can take photos at an interactive “Pokémon Pokopia” photo zone and decorative wall, while children and families can meet Pikachu and take part in a coloring activity in the outdoor area.
Visitors can also receive a commemorative “Pokémon Pokopia” sun visor while supplies last.
The Philippine tour follows stops in Malaysia and Singapore, where the Pokémon Company said the truck attracted more than 250,000 visitors combined.
“We’re bringing the Pokémon Truck to malls across Metro Manila so that as many people in the Philippines as possible can enjoy this experience,” said Kenichiro Fujino, manager at The Pokémon Company.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone to the wonderful world of Pokémon Pokopia. Even if you can’t visit the malls, keep an eye out for the truck as it travels around the city on weekdays. We can’t wait for you to try the game!” Fujino said.
The Pokémon Company said the truck will visit participating malls across Metro Manila during the tour. It also said the initiative is part of its efforts to engage fans in the Philippines through activities and experiences centered on Pokémon.
