Converge ICT Solutions has upgraded its data center facility as part of its mission to provide reliable fiber internet service to small and big businesses across the country.

The company has improved its Reliance Data Center in Pasig City to meet the growing demand for data center colocation and connectivity as well as similar enterprise-grade services.

Over the years, enterprises have growing demand for secure and reliable data center facilities with controlled environments that can house and protect their data and applications. Data center colocation services offer infrastructure, power, and security when housing third-party or private servers.

The upgraded data center boasts improved power capacity and resiliency. Colocation customers have access to uninterrupted power to equipment with 2N full redundancy. For security, the facility has a 24/7 security system that includes closed-circuit cameras and alarm systems, as well as biometrics systems to access rack pods.

Converge uses an advanced cold aisle containment system design that improves the power usage efficiency of pods, or the enclosure that houses data center racks.

Of note, Converge provides remote hands services with its 24/7 data center operations team.

This means customers can delegate onsite services to Converge’s professional data center engineers and can get assistance during planned or emergency activities on their colocated equipment, producing savings on logistics and manpower. The company claims this is a “real-value” service for global service providers with limited to no local presence in the country.

“With the consistent demand in data service especially during this health crisis, Converge invests in IT infrastructure to help the businesses handle and store their data,” said Jesus Romero, Converge chief operating officer. “During this difficult time, we take pride in helping our enterprise customers by providing a data center that will take off a huge burden from their end, as they focus on growing their business.”

“Here in Converge, we treat our enterprise customers both as clients and as business partners. All data center features we offer to them are secure and well-tested, to make sure that it is safe,” Romero said.
