In celebration of the 123rd Philippine Labor Day, PLDT took its customer service directly to communities across the country. The company set up its Community Care Caravan (CCC) at 20 job fairs organized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), offering onsite assistance to job seekers while supporting current and potential PLDT customers.
The initiative, which focused on aftersales services and new subscriptions, allowed attendees to receive immediate support for account inquiries, service upgrades, and service requests. It also provided new customers with guidance on selecting broadband solutions that fit their needs.
By engaging directly with the public, PLDT underscored its commitment to accessible and personalized customer care, offering a unique opportunity for attendees to resolve issues and learn more about available services without visiting a physical branch.
In line with its sustainability efforts, the company also used digital forms on tablets to conduct paperless transactions, reducing waste and streamlining service requests. This approach, which brought localized customer care to communities, also helped minimize travel-related carbon footprints, reinforcing PLDT’s commitment to responsible business practices and digital inclusion.
