GADGETS | soundcore launches Boom 3i outdoor speaker in Philippines

Audio gadget maker soundcore has introduced the Boom 3i, a portable Bluetooth speaker designed for outdoor use, featuring water and dust resistance, extended battery life and app-based controls.
The device carries an IP68 rating, allowing it to withstand immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes, and is designed to float while staying upright. It also includes a protective coating for increased resistance to saltwater exposure and can withstand drops from up to 1 meter.
The Boom 3i delivers 40W audio output using a woofer, tweeter and dual bass radiators. It supports BassUp 2.0 technology, which increases low-frequency output, and TrueWireless Stereo pairing to connect two units for stereo sound.
The speaker offers up to 16 hours of battery life and uses Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity.
Additional features are accessible through the companion app, including equalizer adjustments, lighting controls and smart functions such as an emergency alarm, voice amplification and a cleaning mode that uses internal vibrations to remove debris.
The device also includes programmable LED lighting integrated into its design.
Alongside the Boom 3i, the company introduced the Boom Go 3i, a compact speaker with 15W output, up to 22 hours of battery life and similar IP68 protection. The smaller device includes a mounting strap system for portability.
The Boom 3i is priced at P5,995, while the Boom Go 3i is priced at P2,995 through online platforms and official stores in the Philippines.
