TECH NEWS | Fujisoft tests AI-powered security system using AMD platform
The system is being tested as factories, warehouses and other business sites adopt more automation, increasing the need for real-time monitoring and analysis of large volumes of visual and sensor data.

Fujisoft is developing an artificial intelligence-based physical security system for automated industrial environments, using AMD’s Embedded+ platform to process data from cameras and sensors.
The system is being tested as factories, warehouses and other business sites adopt more automation, increasing the need for real-time monitoring and analysis of large volumes of visual and sensor data.
Fujisoft said its next-generation system goes beyond basic motion detection by using AI-based image recognition to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives. A demonstration unit was completed in 2025, with further development underway for wider deployment.
The solution runs on AMD’s Embedded+ platform, which combines a Ryzen Embedded processor and a Versal adaptive system-on-chip in a single architecture. The setup is designed to support AI inference and low-latency processing across multiple sensors.
The integrated platform also aims to simplify system design, reduce development costs and accelerate deployment timelines.
Naoya Yanagitsubo, a manager at Fujisoft, said the system is intended to address operational challenges identified through customer feedback. “Through conversations with various customers, we have identified specific challenges, and we believe that Embedded+ is well positioned to address and solve these issues,” he said.
The development reflects a broader trend toward edge-based AI systems in industrial settings, where real-time processing is critical for safety, monitoring and operational efficiency.
