MIAS 2026 | BAIC launches B40e Trailmaster rEV in Philippines
The BAIC B40e Trailmaster rEV is positioned for buyers seeking an alternative to conventional off-road vehicles, combining internal combustion and electric power systems.
BAIC Philippines on April 9 introduced a new electrified off-road vehicle as it expanded its lineup at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2026 in Pasay City.
The company announced the local availability of the B40e Trailmaster rEV, a plug-in hybrid off-roader, during the four-day event running from April 9 to 12 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila.
The B40e Trailmaster rEV is priced at P2,888,000 and is positioned for buyers seeking an alternative to conventional off-road vehicles, combining internal combustion and electric power systems.
Alongside the launch, BAIC Philippines presented additional electrified models targeting different market segments. These include the B30e Dune Hybrid, with a promo price starting at P1,479,000 for the 4×2 variant and P1,788,000 for the 4×4 variant.
The lineup also features the B60 Beaumont Hybrid, priced at P2,878,000, and the B60 Beaumont rEV, priced at P3,398,000, both aimed at buyers looking for a mix of utility and electrified performance.
Rounding out the display is the B80 Wagon Special Edition, priced at P4,000,000, positioned as a larger SUV offering for both on-road and off-road use.
BAIC Philippines said the expanded lineup reflects its move toward electrified mobility options in the local market, particularly in segments traditionally dominated by internal combustion engine vehicles.
The Philippine automotive market has seen increasing interest in hybrid and electrified vehicles, driven by fuel costs and broader industry shifts toward lower-emission transport.
The MIAS 2026 showcase marks BAIC’s latest effort to establish its presence in the country’s growing electrified vehicle segment.
