Metro Pasay Hospital and Medical Center has upgraded its digital infrastructure through a partnership with PLDT Enterprise to improve communications, operational efficiency, and patient service delivery.
The hospital adopted new connectivity and communications solutions to support growing patient demand and strengthen coordination across departments. According to Medical Director Dr. Samuel Vincent Yrastorza, reliable digital infrastructure is critical to hospital operations, including managing patient inquiries and maintaining coordination with healthcare partners.
The project includes the deployment of iGate and SIP Trunk solutions, which provide internet connectivity and call management capabilities. The hospital said the systems are designed to support increasing call volumes while helping maintain operational efficiency.
Shiela Garcia, relationship manager for Metro Pasay Hospital at PLDT Enterprise, said stable communications systems are important in healthcare settings where timely coordination is essential to daily operations. The infrastructure upgrade was designed to support both current requirements and future expansion.
Metro Pasay Hospital offers a range of medical services, including outpatient consultations and emergency care. The facility said the improved communications infrastructure will help support faster access to information and more efficient coordination among hospital personnel.
