GADGETS | OPPO launches creator-focused devices, expands AI features, sustainability efforts

OPPO is strengthening its position in the mobile content creation market by expanding its ecosystem of creator-focused devices, combining flagship smartphones, tablets, and cross-device features aimed at photographers, vloggers, and social media creators. The latest additions include the Find X9 Ultra, Find X9s, Reno15 Series 5G, and Pad 5, which are designed to streamline content capture, editing, and sharing across multiple devices.
The company said the new lineup focuses on enabling users to complete the entire creative workflow using mobile devices, from shooting photos and videos to editing and publishing content.
Leading the lineup is the Find X9 Ultra, which features a Hasselblad-tuned multi-camera imaging system with multiple focal lengths, advanced zoom capabilities, and professional-grade video features intended for travel, event, and portrait photography. The device also supports cinematic video recording and integrates AI-assisted imaging tools to simplify post-production.
The Find X9s targets lifestyle creators and social media users with a 200-megapixel imaging system, multiple focal lengths, 4K 120fps video recording, Dolby Vision support, Log video recording, and AI-powered photography features. OPPO said the device is designed to reduce reliance on separate cameras, stabilizers, and editing applications by integrating those capabilities into a single smartphone.

The Reno15 Series 5G complements the flagship devices by focusing on everyday content creation. It offers 4K HDR Ultra-Steady Video, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide selfie camera, and telephoto portrait capabilities. Paired with the OPPO Pad 5, users can review footage on a 12.1-inch 2.8K display, organize projects using AI-assisted note-taking tools, and move files seamlessly between devices for editing and sharing.
Across the lineup, OPPO is also emphasizing ecosystem integration through Cross-Ecosystem Connect, which enables file transfers between OPPO smartphones and Apple devices. The feature is intended to support creators who edit or organize content across multiple platforms without relying on third-party transfer tools.
The devices are available through OPPO brand stores and online sales channels nationwide, with pricing varying by model and configuration. The company is also offering promotional discounts and bundled accessories on selected models.

OPPO highlights AI, battery upgrades in A6 Series
OPPO has expanded the capabilities of its A Series smartphones by introducing new artificial intelligence features, longer battery life, enhanced durability, and performance optimizations aimed at users seeking dependable midrange devices for everyday use. The latest additions, the OPPO A6 and A6s 5G, are designed to address common concerns such as battery life, device slowdowns, overheating, and durability while incorporating AI-powered imaging tools.
The company said the A6 Series focuses on delivering consistent performance for work, entertainment, gaming, and multitasking through a combination of hardware and software enhancements.
Among the upgrades is a 7,000mAh battery, which OPPO said is engineered for long-term durability and is backed by its 60-Month Fluency Protection, a feature intended to maintain system responsiveness over time. The smartphones also support RAM Expansion, allowing unused storage to function as additional virtual memory for improved multitasking.
To help sustain performance during extended use, the devices incorporate the SuperCool VC System, which manages heat generated by gaming, video streaming, and other resource-intensive applications. The A6 Series also features AI GameBoost 2.0, an optimization system that dynamically allocates system resources to stabilize frame rates and reduce lag during gameplay.
The A6s 5G adds IP69-rated water and dust resistance, along with Splash Touch and Glove Touch features that allow the display to remain usable with wet hands or while wearing gloves. The smartphone also includes a 120Hz display, dual stereo speakers, and AI-assisted photo editing tools such as AI Eraser 2.0, AI Unblur, AI Clarity Enhancer, AI Perfect Shot, AI Recompose, and AI Studio.
The OPPO A6 is available in Sakura Pink, Sapphire Blue, and Aurora Gold, while the A6s 5G comes in Ice White and Cappuccino Brown. The A6 starts at P17,999 for the 4GB + 256GB variant and P20,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model. The A6s 5G is priced at P22,999 for the 6GB + 128GB version and P25,999 for the 8GB + 256GB configuration. Both devices are available through OPPO stores, partner retailers, and online sales channels nationwide.

Sustainability progress
OPPO said it reduced emissions across its operations, expanded the use of recycled materials, and increased investments in digital inclusion and education as part of its 2025 Sustainability Report, which outlines the company’s environmental, social, and governance initiatives during the past year.
The report said OPPO’s sustainability strategy centers on operations and compliance, environmental protection, employee welfare, innovation, and ecosystem engagement as the company continues to operate in more than 90 countries and regions.
Among its environmental initiatives, OPPO completed life cycle assessments for 23 smartphone models to evaluate environmental impacts from manufacturing through end-of-life recycling. The company also increased the use of recycled paper in product packaging, with recycled materials accounting for about 43% of smartphone packaging by weight in 2025. In Europe, OPPO also began replacing some plastic packaging materials with paper-based alternatives derived from plant fibers and waste paper.
The company reported a 1.22% year-on-year reduction in emissions from its own operations and a 2.57% decline in Scope 3 emissions after completing an inventory covering 11 categories. Renewable electricity use across manufacturing facilities also increased by nearly 70% during the year, according to the report.
Beyond environmental measures, OPPO said it continued expanding accessibility features in ColorOS by improving more than 30 core applications for users with visual, hearing, and motor impairments. The company also opened its Fitness Health Laboratory in Binhaiwan to conduct research on exercise, cardiovascular health, sleep, and AI-assisted health management.
The report also highlighted OPPO’s partnerships with international organizations. Working with UNESCO, the company donated 1,000 tablets to schools in Thailand and several countries in Asia and Africa to support digital education. It also continued its “Culture in a Shot” initiative with Discovery Channel to promote cultural preservation through mobile photography and expanded community sports programs through its partnership with UEFA.
