Salmon strengthens partnership with EMCOR, expands access to financing across Visayas and Mindanao

Consumers in the Visayas and Mindanao can access financing for appliances, furniture, gadgets and motorcycles at more than 100 EMCOR stores under an expanded partnership between Salmon Finance Inc. and the regional retailer.

The additional EMCOR outlets bring Salmon Finance’s partner-store network to more than 10,000 nationwide, according to the company.

Customers at participating EMCOR stores can apply for Salmon Product Loans to purchase appliances, furniture and gadgets through monthly installments. The financing offers terms of up to six months at 0% interest with zero downpayment, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

Motorcycle buyers can also apply for Salmon Moto Loans when purchasing two-wheelers at participating EMCOR stores or through the Salmon app. The company said the loan application process is fully digital.

Customers can apply with assistance from a Salmon Ambassador at participating stores and receive loan decisions in as fast as one minute, according to Salmon. Repayments can also be made online.

Vasiliy Kuznetzov, president of Salmon Finance Inc., said the partnership would extend access to financing in communities served by EMCOR.

“EMCOR has built a strong reputation for serving communities across Visayas and Mindanao, and we are proud to partner with them as we continue expanding access to financial services nationwide,” Kuznetzov said.

“By making financing more accessible and convenient, we hope to help more Filipinos purchase the products they need for their homes, businesses, and everyday lives,” he added.

EMCOR President Nelson M. Aparejo said the partnership is intended to provide customers with additional financing options.

“At EMCOR, we continuously look for ways to improve the shopping experience of our customers and reach more communities across the country,” Aparejo said.

“Through our partnership with Salmon Finance, we are able to offer fast and reliable financing solutions that make essential products and motorcycles more accessible to Filipino families,” he added.

Salmon Finance Inc. is an SEC-licensed financing company and the lending arm of Salmon Group. The group also operates Salmon Bank (Rural Bank) Inc., a BSP-licensed bank, and offers financial products through the Salmon app.
