AWARDS | Skyrocket Studios wins bronze for AI workflow model
The Manila-based digital agency said its model combines AI-assisted workflows with human creative direction, accountability and controls for confidentiality and brand protection.
Skyrocket Studios Inc. won a bronze award for Most Innovative Digital Agency of the Year at the MARKETECH APAC NEXT Awards 2026 Philippines for its approach to integrating generative artificial intelligence into agency operations under human supervision.
The Manila-based digital agency said its model combines AI-assisted workflows with human creative direction, accountability and controls for confidentiality and brand protection.
The company reported that it trained staff to use AI and develop internal automations in about two weeks. It also created more than 50 internal workflow tools with brand safeguards, reducing long-form production timelines by about 30% and cutting social media content turnaround times by half, according to its award submission.
The approach was applied to projects for a multinational electric vehicle manufacturer and a regional on-demand mobility platform. Skyrocket said it used automated diagnostics to support a regional vehicle launch and synchronized creative and data workflows to reduce bottlenecks between departments.
“There is a critical piece missing in how most companies approach AI adoption right now, and that is accountability and operational enforcement,” said F. Patrick Cuartero, Skyrocket Studios CEO.
“An AI policy won’t mean anything unless you build the mechanisms to enforce it across daily operations,” he said.
Frankie Torres, the agency’s head of research, strategy and AI, said organizations often struggle with AI implementation because they automate processes that are already disorganized.
The award submission cited industry research indicating that AI adoption does not always translate into organization-wide deployment. It referenced the 2026 Stanford HAI AI Index and McKinsey benchmarks in discussing the gap between deploying AI tools and scaling them across business functions.
Skyrocket said it has begun sharing its workflow framework and diagnostic methods with regional companies and agency partners seeking to integrate AI into their operations.
