BUSINESS TECH | Tenable adds Claude Mythos 5 to exposure management platform
Tenable announced the integration Sept. 10, saying Adversary View is expected to become available to initial customers in September.
Tenable Holdings Inc. is adding Anthropic’s Claude Mythos 5 to its Tenable One Exposure Management Platform to help security teams identify attack paths and determine ways to disrupt them.
The integration will initially power Tenable One Adversary View, a planned capability that uses Claude Mythos 5 to analyze exposure data and help security teams identify hidden attack paths.
Tenable announced the integration Sept. 10, saying Adversary View is expected to become available to initial customers in September. Additional capabilities are planned for the fourth quarter and beyond.
Adversary View is designed to analyze exposure data already collected by Tenable and reconstruct how an attacker could move from an initial access point toward critical systems. It will also show evidence for each step and provide guidance on remediation that could break the attack path.
Eric Doerr, chief product officer at Tenable, said the integration combines Claude Mythos 5’s cyber reasoning capabilities with Tenable’s exposure intelligence.
“Bringing Claude Mythos 5 into Tenable One marks an important milestone for Tenable and our customers,” Doerr said.
“By combining some of the world’s most advanced cyber reasoning with the breadth and depth of Tenable’s exposure intelligence, we can tackle complex security problems in entirely new ways,” he said.
Tenable said the integration expands its existing work with Anthropic through Project Glasswing. The earlier work focused on securing Tenable’s code and infrastructure, while the expanded collaboration will make Claude Mythos 5 available within Tenable One.
Adversary View will complement Tenable One’s existing exposure prioritization and attack path analysis capabilities. It is intended to help security teams assess how separate exposures can combine to create an attack path and determine which actions can reduce the associated risk.
Tenable said more innovations using Claude Mythos 5 are planned as part of the expanded collaboration.
