EV PROMO | GAC offers free wall charger, 2-year PMS for AION UT, AION V
The charger is intended for home use, allowing owners to charge the vehicles overnight.
GAC Philippines is offering a free 7-kilowatt wall charger and two years of preventive maintenance service (PMS) to customers who purchase and take delivery of an AION UT or AION V from Sept. 1 to Dec. 31, 2026.
The 7-kW wall charger operates at 32 amps and is designed for use with standard 220-volt residential electrical lines in the Philippines. GAC said it can charge a 60-kWh battery from low to full in about eight hours.
The charger is intended for home use, allowing owners to charge the vehicles overnight.
The two-year free PMS program covers labor and parts specifically prescribed under GAC’s standard maintenance schedule. The service can only be redeemed at the authorized service center of the selling dealer.
Customers must present the PMS voucher and vehicle records during each service visit, while maintenance must be performed according to the prescribed schedule and intervals.
“We are thrilled to introduce this special program to our Filipino customers,” GAC Philippines President Calvin Cheng said.
“We want to make EV ownership as convenient and worry-free as possible for our Filipino customers. Offering a free wall charger and two years of free PMS with the AION UT and AION V is also our way of thanking them for the strong support they have shown for both models,” Cheng said.
The promotion is covered by DTI Fair Trade Permit No. FTEB-268201, Series of 2026.
GAC Philippines said it has a nationwide network of 30 dealerships, along with a local parts warehouse and two years of free roadside assistance.
The AION UT and AION V are among GAC’s electric vehicle offerings in the Philippines, alongside the HYPTEC HT.
GAC said its EV models carry an eight-year or 160,000-kilometer basic warranty, whichever comes first. The traction battery and electric drive are covered by an eight-year or 200,000-kilometer warranty, subject to the specified mileage or time limit.
