GAC Philippines is offering the GN8 PHEV Executive, a seven-seat plug-in hybrid multipurpose vehicle, at an introductory price of P3.338 million, with reservations and test-drive bookings available at dealerships nationwide.

The flagship model combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged Miller-cycle engine with a permanent-magnet synchronous motor and a two-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission. The powertrain produces a combined 373 horsepower and 630 Newton-meters of torque, according to the company.

The vehicle has an electric driving range of up to 120 kilometers and a claimed combined range of more than 1,000 kilometers. Its battery can charge from 30% to 80% in 45 minutes using DC fast charging.

The GN8 PHEV Executive is designed for passengers who prioritize cabin comfort and space. Its second-row captain’s seats feature four-way power leg rests, position memory, heating, ventilation and multiple massage modes. The seats also offer One Touch Spa Mode and Zero Gravity settings.

Other cabin features include tri-zone climate control, a plasma air purifier and the company’s Zero Breeze air-conditioning system, which uses more than 1,600 microvents. The vehicle also has seat vibration dampers and green-tinted acoustic glass intended to reduce road noise and vibrations.

For entertainment and productivity, the front cabin has a digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch central touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Rear passengers have an overhead screen and two folding tray tables. A Yamaha 16-speaker audio system is also included.

The plug-in hybrid system can power an onboard 220-volt outlet and support the air-conditioning system while the vehicle is parked, allowing the cabin to remain comfortable without running the combustion engine, GAC said.

Safety and driving-assistance features include an Electronic Stability Program, Hill Descent Control, traction control and anti-lock braking with Hydraulic Brake Assist. The company also cited thermal management for the high-voltage battery and sealed electrical components designed to protect against splashes and rain. These features do not eliminate the need for caution when driving through flooded roads.

The GN8 PHEV Executive has a suggested retail price of P3.488 million, with P150,000 in introductory savings bringing the price to P3.338 million for qualifying reservations made through Dec. 31, 2026, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

Available exterior colors are Blade Shadow White, Temple Gold and Elegant Black, while the interior comes in red and black.

GAC Philippines operates 30 dealerships nationwide and provides two years of free roadside assistance. Its plug-in hybrid and hybrid models, including the GN8 PHEV, carry a five-year or 150,000-kilometer basic warranty, whichever comes first, and an eight-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty covering the power battery, driving motor and motor control unit, according to the company.
