Maya’s second consecutive win in the Best Companies to Work for in Asia category places it among 44 companies selected for the distinction from 160 organizations surveyed in the Philippines.
Maya has received three workplace awards at the 2026 HR Asia Awards in the Philippines, including a second consecutive recognition as one of the Best Companies to Work for in Asia.
The digital financial services company also won the Tech Empowerment and People Transformation awards, recognizing its workplace practices, employee engagement and people development initiatives.
Maya’s second consecutive win in the Best Companies to Work for in Asia category places it among 44 companies selected for the distinction from 160 organizations surveyed in the Philippines.
The company also retained its Tech Empowerment recognition for a second year, while the People Transformation award was a new addition to its honors this year.
“Being recognized again is meaningful because building a good workplace takes continuous effort,” said Charee Lanza, Maya Group chief people officer.
“We want our people to have opportunities to develop their careers, learn new skills and take on new challenges as Maya continues to grow. These awards reflect the work of our teams in making that happen,” Lanza added.
Organized by Business Media International, the HR Asia Awards recognizes companies for workplace practices, employee engagement and efforts to develop and support employees.
Maya said its people development initiatives include structured career and leadership programs, hands-on learning opportunities, and training in emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence.
The company also uses employee feedback to improve workplace programs and supports staff through initiatives focused on well-being, recognition and engagement.
