MOBILITY | BAIC owners gather for Tagaytay community event
The event, titled “More Than a Car: The BAIC Community,” began with owners meeting at the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) before driving together to Tagaytay.
BAIC Philippines brought vehicle owners and company representatives together for a community gathering on Oct. 17 at Nurture Wellness Village in Tagaytay, combining a group drive, owner discussions and wellness activities.
The event, titled “More Than a Car: The BAIC Community,” began with owners meeting at the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) before driving together to Tagaytay. At the venue, participants exchanged ownership experiences and joined activities that included tai chi and head massage sessions.
The gathering was attended by Rommel L. Sytin, chairman of UAAGI; Timothy Sytin, BAIC Philippines brand head; Lito Landicho, UAAGI vice president for aftersales; and May De Los Santos, BAIC marketing director.
One B40e owner shared an account of driving through floodwaters that reached the vehicle’s doors, saying the experience tested its advertised capabilities. The press release did not identify the owner or provide further details about the vehicle’s performance under those conditions.
In his remarks, Timothy Sytin thanked owners for their trust in the brand and for participating in its activities.
The gathering was part of BAIC Philippines’ efforts to connect owners through shared driving experiences, road trips and other community activities. The company said it intends to continue bringing owners, dealers and its team together through its “Drive Big with BAIC” initiative.
