Watch aficionados are going to find the most updated Casio timepieces in the Philippines in the coming months. This as the announcement made by its new distributor, CSC Time Inc.as the company also set in motion plans to open retail outlets around the country.
Recently appointed by Casio as its Philippine distributor, CSC Time Inc. is laying the groundwork to increase the Japanese brand’s presence in the country. A Filipino company engaged in distribution of Casio timepieces, it is also affiliated with Hong Kong’s Honour Rich International Ltd., a group that’s been in the watch business for over 50 years.
“The Philippines is a key market for our timepieces and by working with CSC Time Inc., we are able to bring more of our latest products developed with new technologies closer to Filipinos,” said Tomoo Kato, executive officer, senior general manager, overseas sales division, global marketing headquarters of Casio Computer Co. Ltd.
With CSC Time Inc. as the new distributor of Casio timepieces, Filipinos could get a firsthand look at the latest watches under the Casio brand including the much coveted unique models of G-Shock, Baby-G, Pro Trek, Edifice and Sheen. Apart from expanding their retail distribution, they are also set to open branches of G-Shock Casio Stores.
“We know how popular Casio timepieces are among Pinoys and as its new distributor, our goal is to have more customer touchpoints and Casio timepieces for watch aficionados,” said Henry Duong, president of CSC Time Inc. “More importantly, these will be supported with our strong after-sales service that will ensure the best care for these watches over time.”
