Zyxel Networks has demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility by partnering with the Zyxel Foundation to donate networking products and technical support to 33 charities across Taiwan. This initiative aims to enhance the digital infrastructure of social welfare organizations, helping them to offer more effective services to those in need. Marking Zyxel’s 35th anniversary, this project not only provided secure and reliable network products but also encouraged Zyxel employees to volunteer their time and expertise to ensure the proper installation and setup of these networks.

The list of recipients includes major foundations like the Boyo Social Welfare Foundation, Hondao Senior Citizens Welfare Foundation, and The Garden of Hope Foundation. Significantly, Zyxel expanded its outreach this year to Taiwan’s offshore island of Lanyu, assisting the Lan En Cultural and Educational Foundation, which serves an underserved area with limited resources.

Since the start of its donation program in 2022, Zyxel has contributed over 1,000 networking devices to more than 100 charities, helping them maintain stable, high-quality internet connections. For instance, Yuheng Li, director of the Boyo Social Welfare Foundation’s Zhudong Branch, shared that the improved network has provided rural children with uninterrupted access to after-school tutoring, bridging educational disparities. Similarly, the Chang’an Elderly Care Center reported significant improvements in efficiency and the quality of communications between residents and their families.

In addition to equipment, Zyxel’s Nebula Cloud Management platform enabled organizations to streamline maintenance and remotely manage network devices, which has reduced operational costs and downtime.

Denise Lin, Chief Sustainability Officer of the Zyxel Group, expressed pride in the program’s success, noting that it empowered Zyxel employees to connect with the community, applying their skills to create real impact. Zyxel Networks intends to continue supporting similar initiatives to further benefit social welfare organizations and uplift communities through technology.
