HONOR Philippines is set to launch its new AI-driven smartphone, the HONOR 400 5G, on June 17. The upcoming model aims to push the boundaries of mobile technology by offering a feature that animates old photos using artificial intelligence.
The official launch event will be streamed live on HONOR’s Facebook page.
A key feature of the HONOR 400 5G is its ability to transform static images—such as childhood portraits and family snapshots—into lifelike videos. The feature highlights how AI can be used to reconnect users with the past by breathing new life into memories.
“With the HONOR 400 5G, we’re not just launching another smartphone, but introducing a new emotional experience,” said Stephen Cheng, vice president of HONOR Philippines. “This is the real AI phone, designed to bring your memories back to life and create meaningful moments through innovation.”
As part of its campaign, HONOR has launched the “HONOR Image-to-Video Challenge,” a viral trend that encourages fans to animate their old photos through the phone’s AI capabilities.
The teaser campaign has already sparked attention online, with videos showcasing how the technology adds motion to static images. HONOR, known for durable builds and high-performance cameras, is positioning the HONOR 400 5G as both a technical innovation and an emotionally resonant device.
The phone’s full specifications and availability will be revealed during the June 17 event.
