GADGETS | Philips launches back-to-school monitor cashback promo

Consumers purchasing select Philips Evnia monitors from July 1 to Sept. 30 can receive up to P1,500 in GCash cashback under the company’s Back-to-School 2026 promotion, which covers gaming and productivity displays sold through participating retailers and online stores nationwide.

The campaign includes several monitors designed for students, professionals, content creators and gamers seeking display upgrades ahead of the new academic year.

Among the participating models is the Philips Evnia 49M2C8900, a 49-inch curved QD-OLED ultrawide monitor with a Dual QHD (5120 × 1440) resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time. The display also supports VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort and USB-C with Power Delivery.

Also included is the Philips Evnia 27M2N5500XD, a 27-inch Fast IPS gaming monitor that features a dual-resolution mode. Users can switch between QHD resolution at up to 540Hz or HD resolution at up to 1000Hz, depending on gameplay requirements. Other features include Smart MBR, Smart Crosshair, Stark ShadowBoost, LowBlue Mode, Flicker-Free technology and low input lag.

For users who split their time between work and gaming, the Philips 27E2N5900RW offers two operating modes: 4K UHD at up to 144Hz for productivity tasks and Full HD at up to 288Hz for esports titles. The monitor also includes USB-C connectivity, VESA DisplayHDR 400, Adaptive Sync, EasyRead Mode and SoftBlue Technology.

Philips said eligible buyers may receive cashback of up to P1,500, depending on the monitor purchased. The offer is available while promotional allocations last, with participating models listed through the company’s official Philips Evnia channels.
